Let me introduce myself
I’m David Underwood and throughout my life I have been listening to people and now I am here to listen to you and your story!
You will have my undivided attention!
I trained and worked as a teacher, specialising in Early Years.
I served as a Head Teacher in three schools, listening to children, parents and teachers.
I am a Church of England Minister and in that role listened to and advised many people on their journey through life, supporting those about to be married; some facing difficult challenges and other experiencing the pain of illness and bereavement.
Combining those two roles brought me to work as Director of Education for Church Schools. In this job I coached and guided new head teachers, school governors and parish priests. For a time I worked at a national level, planning and training for school inspections.
I live in Godmanchester, where I was brought up as a child. I serve on the Town Council and currently I am the Mayor of Godmanchester.
Three years ago I founded Godmanchester Living on Facebook a group which now has over 2500 members.
I am married to Wendy and together we enjoy travel and walking – we recently completed a charity walk to the source of the River Great Ouse.
I love cooking and when we meet I will be pleased to share my kitchen table with you as we chat over homemade cake!
Now I work as a Personal Coach and can offer my 40 years experience to you.
